NX200 in July, but NX20 in January 2012 only?
During the last couple of weeks some of our sources told us that the NX20 announcement would be delayed. Now according to the russian forum forum.ixbt.com said that a Russian Samsung Photo Consultant confirmed the NX200 would be announced in July, but the NX20 would come in January 2012 only!
My guess is that the rumor is correct. I only got info and some specs about the NX200 in these days. As you know the NX200 should be announced within the next 6 days!

I suspect that NX20 an NX200 were ready at the same time, perhaps Samsung decided to scrap X20 in a fear it wont hold against the nex-7,
so now were gonna get a much better NEX20 in 2012

11 months ago |I appreciate that delaying the NX20 might mean they’re trying to make a better camera, but I was really hoping to (finally) being able to buy my long-awaited mirrorless by September this year.
Also, if the NX20 is delayed until 2012, what does that mean for the NX1? Will it be released even later in the year than the NX20?

Keep dreaming, Frosti. I would be grateful for 1,5mil. EVF with higher refresh rate. In the meantime NX200 could be a pleasing photoboxie. Who knows – early we will find it out.
Have you already decided what will be your next camera or are you waiting for what is coming and then pick the best? I presume Samsung will offer better quality/price ration than Sony.

11 months ago |If the NX20 delay is because Sony NEX7 and Sony will include a 3MPx OLED EVF on a77, is probably Samsung is working in something better.

10 months ago |It makes sense that the nx200 will come out first given that it is made for the compact csc market and it had more weaknesses than the nx10, even though it is a good shooter.I dont think though that the nx200 will have a built-in evf just because its competitors like the pens and sony nex dont have an evf. Hopefully they can bump the shooting speeds to at least 5 fps and better noise performance at higher iso’s. One thing they also need to do is make it more streamlined like the ex-1 and include at least a nice rubberized grip.Perhaps a better separate matching evf is along the way too as well? Out of all those things I think for sure they will make the camera a little more smaller and compact in design. Not that the nx100 was a huge camera, my guess is that the nx200 will be a little bit larger or same size as the olympus epl2. i hope though that they dont make it silly-small like the sony nex5. i would also guess that the body will feel more tougher and it could come in 3 colors, black, white and maybe a red. I recently picked up a nx10 for 299 usd and for that price, it is one heck of a camera! You cant beat that combo!
