6 months ago |Pana G3 and GX1 bodies go for about $299. Both have twice the sensor of the V1. If m43 is “tiny”, what is 1″ then? Now go find me an analogue of 20/1.7 for Nikon 1. Or 25/1.4. Or 75/1.8. Or 12/2.0. Or 7-14/4. Or 12-35/2.8. Or 35-100/2.8. Or 100-300 and 75-300. Even pocketable RX100 beats any Nikon 1 with zoom by 2 stops at wide end. This is not even funny. Hell, LX7, G15, XF1 etc beat it. The lenses as big as the one for Nikon 1 should have been starting from f/1.0.

6 months ago |Small correction, Pana G3 is even cheaper, $250 now on Amazon and B&H. V1 at $300 is not such a good deal even more.

6 months ago |i dont see anyone with any shitm43 lenses. looks goodon aper and at olympus corp…but too bad no one buys them. olympus is not the big 2…they are aklmost dog last…fighting fir scraps off the camera table.

6 months ago |No way a CX sensor looks as good as a micro 4/3 sensor1 Take another good look man. Did you ever use any of these systems? I think not. The last generation 16 megapixel sensor wipes the floor with the Nikon CX based camera’s.

M43 cameras are mostly smaller and lighter also.
