New NEX-5T and new 16-70mm E-mount lens coming soon.

Within this month Sony will announce a new NEX-5T and a new High Quality 16-70mm E-mount zoom lens. The NEX-5t will be only a slightly upgraded NEX-5r (same sensor and same EVF). The High Quality zoom lens will be “expensive”. It will cost a bit more than $1,000.

Regarding the NEX-FF. Rumors pointed out that Sony is preparing a very special event in late September for it. Everything is very secret…but we know it’s coming :)

I learned I need 28mm for wideangle and at least 135mm as tele. So I do not know what this lens is for. F4 is o.k. but a price of 1000 usd for a lens that seems to have no advantage at all? Have fun.
