E-PL2 vs GF2 vs NEX-C3 size comparison!

Amazing how small the NEC-C3 is. But I remind you smaller isn’t necessary better. Olympus is much thicker but this happens because they feature they very useful in body stabilization. But I am wondering how small Panasonic will go with the next GF3. Probably sooner or later we will see a camera with the size of the mount only

weird
2 years ago |Frankly…I think most of people don’t care extrem small size. The camera has to fit well into the hand…!
Moreover, NEX system was really promising…but when I see their roadmap…huh…nothing exciting at all…oO!!! It is not overprocied Zeiss branded lenses that will make me join the system either…
I much prefer the Samsung NX roadmap…which looks much more thought and serious.
Just need Samsung to improve its sensor and they will get my bucks.

weird
2 years ago |so what’s your point? I am talking about NEX system, not DSLR’s…

2 years ago |The c3 will look like an iphone with some low level crappy lens attached. I won’t jump in this bandwagon, Sony.

2 years ago |PEN series have in-body stabilization, useful for pancakes and primes. NEX series have in-lenses stabilization, VERY useful for zooms and video. I choose the NEX system without doubt. ¿NX? The NX is a toy. I have NEX-3 and NX100, and NX is a TOY. No manual focus override, 2x magnification in manual (7x and 14x with better Q in NEX), AMOLED hard to focus (the screen of the NEX is state-of-the-art), no tilt screen, no little flash, no magnification on the focus point in manual focus, no muscle for real-time aperture preview in low light, mediocre high-iso, no in-camera HDR, no REALLY useful DR…¿continue? NEX have all of it. And is a APS-C with APS-C DOF and APS-C video-optimized lenses, no m4/3. I am not a worker of Sony, but I do photos, and NEX is a PLEASURE to handle, Olympus is a fuss, and Samsung, too simple, or really ilogical (EX-1). Bored of anti-Sony websites and fans.

2 years ago |Certainly Sony has you in his camp…lol
When reading you so…Sony NEX is best camera ever made and other offering jsut suck balls… lol… Thx for sharing “your personal feelings” about these cams.
I don’t have Sony, neither NX or m4/3…
I am still waiting to jump from DSLR to a smaller system like those…
But I am sorry…what you say is not representative of the reviews and the comments I saw from real users of the camera you bash. NEX is known for its good sensor…and its tiny design. point.

2 years ago |These are not “personal feelings”, these are facts. ¿Reviews? ¿like the youtube Samsung videos? Pope himself can come here and write “freely” that NX is the best camera ever made…but if you take the cam, it has no manual focus override, no 7x magnification, no instant zoom for reviewing focus and aaaall the rest of the message I wrote. I like my NX (I bought it for 280€ with 20gnflash knowing what it was)but 2+2=4 and you cant change that. I love Fiat500, a precious car, but if asked, I know that almost every other car in the market have more horsepower and room for a family. It’s easy to understand.
Don’t believe me? Ok, no problem.

2 years ago |I like a bigger body to hold it save in my hands. I hope there will be a oly e-pl3 with build in viewfinder. or i still use my e-410 and wait for the e-50
weird
2 years ago |I agree with you. This new Sony doesnt feel safe to me about handling. Like you saidm build in viewfinder is necessary for me…I just can’t shoot in P&S style…
What is funny is that my wife use a P&S, and anytime she asks me to take a picture of her with it…I just put the screen directly to my eye…lol…and then I think: Uh…!? ah…right, there is no build in viewfinder, forgot that… lol
Build in viewfinder became so nature for me that I hardly need it.
E-PL1 seem to have a great one, but it is optional and quite expensive. Moreover…if it in the hot shoe…you can’t put any flash and it looks quite not safe to me.
Samsung NX10 has one which is built in…It is really tempting camera, especially because its UI is really DSLR like (so it could easily fit my practise) but its sensor is outdated and it seems its viewfinder is not state of the art.
The new G3 seems to have a really nice one…but its UI a la touchscreen P&S don’t make it at all for me………
Still hoping for the rumoured NEX7, more enthousiast oriented or the coming NX20…with updated viewfinder and sensor. But samsung do not give much news…

12 months ago |Is there some reason the third camera (the Panasonic) in the size comparison chart is cut off so we can’t see it or it’s measurements? I’ve tried adjusting my browser but no luck.
