There is some weird rumor about a “special” NX1 edition. The source told me Samsung is testing such a camera and still checking if it makes sense to bring it to market. It’s basically a lower megapixel version of the NX1 with those specs:

1) 10% lighter body compared to nx1, slightly different grip
2) 60fps at 4k, full sensor readout
3) swivel display
4) 1.5 stop better dr and high iso compared to nx1
5) A Samsung led video lamp is also in development to bundle with nx1-lx

Samyang launched a new teaser on facebook to “prepare” for the new 100mm macro lens. This one will come for all digital mirrorless systems like Sony E, Samsung, Fuji X and MFT.

Sony and Panasonic will not launch a new 4K system camera at NAB this year. The only interesting new camera will come from Canon. A fixed lens 4K camera with 1 inch sensor and 24-240mm f/2.8-5.6 lens. Here are two images showing the camera.

That’s what I got today. The new Sony A7rII will be announced after the NAB show and have:

– Same 36MP sensor as the A7r
– Improved autofocus system
– Same EVF and LCD
– 5 axis stabilization
– Shutter silent mode (and overall a bit more silent shutter)
– Similar A7II sized body
 

The A9 E-mount PRO camera is due for a later release than expected/hoped….probably coming second half of the year only…

We have a couple of new mini rumors to share:

Sony:
Sony should announce a new A7rII and a new 50MP A9(?) camera soon.

Fuji:
Fujirumors reports about a Fuji interview. New 2x converter could come and a new sensor has to be designed to make 4K video possible.

Olympus:
The E-M1II could have a new 1/32.000 electronic shutter (Source: 43rumors).

Sigma:
Sigma Rumors reports that a new 24mm f/2.8 ART lens will be released in September.
